  • Victor Balaban
    Siemens Gamesa
Born in Republic of Moldova. Worked in various countries with various cultures and norms, countries like Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Romania, Moldova, Denmark. Depending on the country and depending on the company size (and focus) i confronted different work-space norms and a vast range of incentives that were valued in a different way depending on both, the company and the employee. Working as project manager in startup companies implied the dynamic and \"boundary free\" workspace, which caused the employees to feel more creative and innovative, it formed the \"at home\" feeling. Working in bigger companies required more discipline and homogenization in workspace, both from physical as well as psychological perspective. The bigger companies cannot afford investments in individual interests therefore and average of needs is deducted. Overall the \"perfect workspace\" should be a balance between the company\'s vision and the employees incremental development, having it based on technology, comfort, security, satisfaction, and of course basic needs.
